Helping Adolescents Redefine Life, Education, & Mental-Health
Join us on April 10th for an exciting community event to enrich and award Harlem students.
The event will consist of a panel discussion with educators and mental health providers who will speak specifically about the history of Harlem, the importance of education, and the benefits of mental health awareness.
By discussing these topics, we hope to engage students that will lead to a succesful future. Additionally, by attending this event students will be able to not only take away an incredible experience, but also be given tangible tools that are geared towards their mental health.
As a Harlem high school student, this event will provide the opportunity for monetary compensation, professional world experience in the form of an internship with Behavioral Associates NY. Apply for the internship and award here.

Discussing the 1954 landmark decision of Brown v. The Board of Education and the impact that it had on Harlem students in the 20th century and thereafter.
Redlining and Gentrification
Discussing the history and effects that redlining and gentrification had on Harlem residents and its respective school districts.
